I've spent the last three weeks or so battling a kidney infection that seems quite keen to stay around despite all attempts to get rid of it...and Boy! is it hanging on in there...!!

I'm not the only one who's had it bad though...my 'vintage', some would say antique, computer has finally given up the ghost...and is currently residing at my local repair specialist while I sort out a replacement. Thankfully, all my software can be safely transferred over to the new laptop when it arrives...!
I'm still waiting for my new laptop to arrive...so am finding my way around a very dear friend's 'spare' computer....
Lastly....oh yes, there's more...my wonderfully faithful little van has been just as unwell as me...so at a time when transportation might have been quite useful, I've had none...!
But, I'm not down...I know I'll get better soon and my new computer will be here any day now...and the mechanic says he can fix my van!
So I should be 'fully functional' soon....
